Maka Albarn is a death meister in training as part of the DWMA's training program. Wielder of a scythe, Maka works alongside her partner Soul (her weapon) to rid the world of the kishin, corrupted beings who descended into madness and devour souls for nourishment. True to her counterpart in the anime, Maka is fairly serious about her job and wants to use her experience to become a stronger meister. However, in this parody, Maka's insecurities are expanded upon and poked fun at, making her more agitated and frustrated with everyone around her.
(Narration) A sound soul dwells within a sound mind and a sound body. That is the code of a meister… A long time ago, my mother once told me that evil “was always waiting in the shadows”. It wasn’t until I was older that I realized how true those words were.
