Amou was raised by wolves after an event in his early childhood he calls "Loud crash" where he only remembers the sound of screeching tires and a few shouts, before being taking in by a family of wolves, the mother had a litter of pups, and instinctively took the boy in to raise as her own. For 15 years of his life, he spent his time isolated from civilization, out in the wild and honing his skills and senses to the point where his ability became more animalistic than human.

He was taken in by a well known family of hunters soon after his 15th birthday, when he was found wild and hostile by them. He was adopted, and began learning basic English and mannerisms that he would have learned if he had lived a normal life. He has an extremely naive view of humanity, and is incredibly innocent to the horrors that mankind can commit. He's extremely friendly and trusting, despite his large, intimidating appearance, sharp eyes and furskin poncho and wolf head he wears over his head. Many are afraid of him at first, but he really acts like a puppy more than anything else.

After careful consideration, Amou's voice is most simalar to Gonta Gokuhara's English dub. However, his voice is more gruff and rugged than how Gonta usually speaks. Other interpretations however are welcome!
