Laura is Erika's roommate, and also a close relative, no matter how much the tiny journalist refuses to accept it.

Laura's personality is a bit... out there. Tacky at times, having given into their starving artist persona many, many years ago even though they’ve been successful for quite some time now. 

Capricious would be the simplest way to put it simply, and though they are not always quite as considerate as they should be in their day-to-day, they value their friends deeply and they’re the first to lend a helping hand when possible.

Terrible roommate, never tidies a single thing. Hoards all sorts of rubbish for artistic purposes that Erika ends up stealing somehow.
