Backstory: Rinko Hanzawa and her little sister was raised in a family of elite musicians who had high expectations, those of which Rinko did not fulfill, causing her to get into serious troubles with her parents with more-than-severe punishments. One day she was singing in the park, and this caught the attention of a girl named Junko. Rinko was surprised to see someone so interested in her singing since her teachers were always telling her she wasn't good enough. When Junko asked if she could teach her to sing as well, Rinko was thrilled, but before she could respond her father dragged her off. A few years later, Junko transferred into Rinko's class, and this event led both of them into a better mental state. The living circumstances at Rinko's place grew worse, and when she finally had enough and rebelled, Rinko's parents threw her out. Junko found Rinko in the park where they usually hung out and immediately took Rinko into her family. After awhile with Junko, Rinko discovered her burning passion for music and decided to become an idol. When she auditioned for I MY ME's idol opening with Junko, the pair were recognized for their strong emotions and accepted them.
