Can you elaborate on murky? Like, how bad it is and how you would describe it? What kind of mic would you recommend to someone just starting out? I just discovered this site today and would like to voice other things for people, but not really wanting to go out and dump a large amount of money on something just starting off. If this would become more than a hobby (which would be really nice as I enjoy this a lot!) then I wouldn't mind spending a good chunk on a really nice setup.
Sorry for the late response. I think it sounds like you're speaking through a two way radio. Your full voice isn't coming through as clear as it could be. Its not really necessary to go get a full mic xlr set but rather get a decent mic and treat the environment to reduce noise and filter out popping with a pop filter. Little things make a big difference. Try a blue yeti to start out, and treat the environment. That should help get you started
