Unpaid
Role assigned to: deleted102911

He's a ghoul who's run a saloon called the Old Fart Saloon for over a hundred years. He's a polite, cheery ghoul, unlike the grumpy ones. This can be seen in the dialogue you have with him. He doesn't have a huge amount of interaction outside of a quest, but you can ask him some stuff and trade and whatnot. The Old Fart Saloon is one of the medium-sized trading hubs in the Frontier wasteland.

As Johnny Sims is a ghoul, you should have a rasp like Hancock from Fallout 4 as shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qbg0QVIpxiU. If you do not have a ghoul rasp for your audition for Johnny Sims, your audition will be disqualified.

Record all audition lines while referring to the notes below for each line and do one take of each line.

For the first audition line, you are casually reassuring a customer that your establishment is secure against raids. You give off a confident aura and assure customers that they are at a safe establishment. You also are confident in the security of the establishment to the point that the threat of robbery is laughable and tossed around in casual conversation. You've seen a lot of things being attempted on the bar over the course of 100+ years so nothing phases or surprises you.

For the second audition line, you are cheerily letting a customer know that he's welcome to do business with you at any time. You are also caring and friendly towards the patrons. You make the patrons feel at home and happy. You don't want to be just someone they do business with. You want to be a friend as well. You are also serious about giving patrons the ability to contact you when needed.

For the third audition, you thought you witnessed someone committing a crime but didn't manage to clearly catch the possible act or perpetrator, which causes you to go back to your normal routine/state again. You don't want to disturb the patrons and make it appear as if everything was normal. You think your mind is losing it and causing you to hallucinate crimes being committed. You are a bit frustrated at both your ghoul brains' inability to respond quickly enough as well as not being able to confirm what you thought you saw.

  • Eh, we don't really get much trouble around here. Usually, some idiot tries to rob the place then gets gunned downed before he can put out his last word.

  • You let me know if you need anything else, you hear?

  • {muttered} Damn brain's rotting away.

Hey man, why are you auditioning for roles that have already been casted? Please wait for the next casting call round and audition for roles that are actually open.

hello! i'm taking a class that requires me to audition three times a day, and i prefer to do that with roles that have already been cast, so that i'm not potentially burdened with several roles at once. if you prefer i can audition only for open roles as you requested. sorry for any inconvenience!

Ah, well if you're doing this for class. I'd appreciate it if you could audition for open roles. Auditioning also doesn't necessarily mean you'll be casted especially for a project like this one. Competition is quite fierce here for any role due to the number of people auditioning. You'll also get actual feedback from me that you could use for your classes and self-improvement as a feedback instead of getting warnings.

i'll do that, thanks for your understanding
