Skyrah Johnson (pronunciation: SKY-RUH) is the 6th main character of my game project, Never Walk Alone. despite being a 2-timed survivor of Breast Cancer who was also born with Conductive Hearing Loss, (which happens when sounds cannot pass through the outer and middle ear, making it hard to hear soft sounds , as well as making louder sounds muffled) this less fortunate but incredibly strong 17 year old girl is an amazing example of a strong black woman. She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, and was home schooled until she moved to Vernon, Oregon (fictional city) to see family, and to start a new life as she began her first high school year at Hansol High (fictional school). before she moved to Vernon, she was diagnosed twice with Breast Cancer in different points in life; once at age 13, and again at age 16. with treatment and money in her favor, she survived the first one, and then survived the second one just in time for her to move to Vernon, however, she may likely end back up with another form of cancer later on due to having a genetic predisposition to Cancer. this isn't stopping her from living her best life, but she does have major insecurities because of her scars and inability to hear as much as others can.

1. [quietly, soothing tone in voice] you need help with that? [confusion for a split second] Hmm? Oh! [scoff] of course I can speak, I'm not entirely mute.. well, not anymore, thanks to this hearing aid that was built for me. I'd still need everyone to speak up though,[slightly sad].. I wish I didn't end up annoying everyone who's talked to me by making them repeat their sentences so many times. [whisper-singing] .. Hey, my name's Skyrah! I know, it's a wacky name. [proudly] I think it's unique, not a single person on this planet has the same name as me- [immediately changes subject] anyways, enough about me! I wanna know more about you, errhh... [trying to remember] uh.. Yuna! I think I got it right.. [worried] ..I hope.
[caught off guard, respond in a calm but sad tone in voice] oh, hey.. sorry, I sometimes sing when I'm upset, and well... I'm feeling down. do you think we'll still be together as a team forever? I can't quite see that yet, with me constantly coming back up with a bad illness, and Felix having an unknown parasite that's eating his insides away...[trembling voice, sound as if you're on the verge of crying] I don't wanna lose any of y'all..
