In the original, Ichigo is kind and caring. She always considers her squadmates, and tries her hardest to be a strong leader for Squad 13. She takes her job as a leader seriously, and carries out her responsibilities, yet is still capable of being casual when necessary. She also has a deep admiration for Hiro, and seemingly cares for him more than herself.
In the abridged, Ichigo is even more of a leader. She takes her job as the leader very seriously and always gives her 100% effort. She has complicated feelings towards Hiro, while it is clear she cares about him, she also doesn’t seem to express that verbally, instead resorting to insults. Overall her attitude is similar to the original, except for her kindness, which is not always outwardly apparent.
Vocal Qualities:
A teenage female voice.
Mid-high to high pitch.
We are open to interpretation.
Line 1: “Listen, you’re in hot shit. Not only did you fuck up when you tried to pilot the Franxx, but you just had to go ahead and mess with Papa’s voice box didn’t you?”
Context: Ichigo talking to Hiro via voice message and Hiro never responds to them.
Line 2: “Yeah.. if he keeps this up he’s gonna get booted for sure.”
Context: Ichigo is worrying about Hiro’s actions and him ignoring his responsibilities.
Line 3: “If you say his name one more time I’m gonna cut your dick off.” (pouty)
Context: Ichigo doesn’t appreciate hearing Goro speak of Hiro getting kicked from the team.
