Looking for someone who can pull off a very convincing match to Jeanette Voerman's voice actress, Grey De Lisle, as I'm looking to add your voice to an expanded set of quests for her.

  • "Oooh, what do we have here? Another scrumptious young plaything straight out of life and into my club? Mmm... you smell new, little boy/girl, like fabric softener dew on freshly mowed Astroturf..............Oh, I'm not frightening you, am I, duckling?"

I'm the finger down your spine when all the lights are out. I'm the name on all the men's room walls. When I pout, the whole world tries to make me smile. And everyone always wants to know, who... is... that girl?

[***] The acting and the voice is really good on this. May I ask you a question? I have been working with so many people using the Blue Yeti and I'm trying to get the audio the way you have it. Your audio with the Yeti is crystal-clear. What settings do you use and how is your mic setup propped? I swear...damn near 80% of people with Blue Yetis do not sound like this.

Hard to say really, but I work in a closet surrounded by towels and a duvet hooked at the back to absorb sound. I'm a lil nuts on trying to cover reflective surfaces, hehe. Since the Blue Yeti has it's own damned stand, I can't hook it onto a desk clamp, so I use a small pile of books to elevate it to keep it away from any desk vibrations, then add my pop filter over it. I keep my gain at around the '11 o'clock' mark (to some that still might be too high). In Audacity I just add a lil bit of noise reduction, some equalisation and then normalisation towards the end. Not sure what else to add. Glad you liked my audition though. ^_^

Hey, I have a blue yeti and finally got it off it's TERRIBLE stand with this great thing https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B075HXKBKH/ref=pe_3034960_236394800_TE_dp_1 maybe that could work for you as well. You sound fantastic! I was about to audition but I love this, thumbs up from me!

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll add it to my ever growing wish list, hehe. Also, thanks for the upvote / compliment, very much appreciated. Hope you do audition for the role though, you never know if they'll find you more to their liking.

Thank you so much for the tips!! I have about three voice actors I'm working with to configure their sound.
