Emery von Flae is of a rare species known as the Tafric [tah-freak]. He is the son of his village's chieftain, though he doesn't take his job as successor all that seriously. He's generally bubbly and very sweet, though to dissuade people he tends to act rather creepy to keep them away. He joins the young prince on his mission because he wishes to pursue equality for his people, rather than watch them be attacked and driven to extinction simply because of what they are. His voice should reflect his bubbly nature but have a hint of the terrifying which comes with being a Tafric.
