As long as the voice resembles from the games, you'll be good. While the significance states that a male or female can try out for this part, I would prefer a female. But hey, if a male can pull of a child's voice, I'll be impressed!

I think its awesome you're capable of more than one interpretation of Tails' voice. Overall, this was greatly executed. Since this project is based of the adventure games, as I've emphasized with other roles, it would be preferred if you strive to sound like the VA's from the adventure games. So yeah.
