About: A non-binary (he/they) changeling stuck permanently at the age of 12, Tik was stolen, along with their twin Tok, by the two Fae Courts, as part of a wager to determine how well their respective child-rearing capabilities worked out. Tik was taken by the Unseelie Court, who rely on violence, fear, and intimidation to extract what they want from humans and other, but also have certain honor codes regarding lying and trickery. Tik, stayed with the Unseelie for several years, and picked up many of their mannerisms. He is obsessed with owning souls, and will use fear and violence to try and get to them. He broke free of his kidnappers, as Tik did from her’s, and together they ran away, using powerful wards they had stolen to keep themselves safe from the courts. Tik, like their sister, is essentially feral now, and has lived like that for centuries. He has picked up some of his sister’s mannerisms, and, for example, now uses some word tricks as well to get what he wants. They initially view Diya as just another mark, but they grow affectionate for her as time goes on. Tik refuses to lie, much to the chagrin of their sister, but is otherwise quite a terrifying kid who doesn’t like opening up. Like their sister, Tik inexplicably has taken on Californian mannerisms, though they have never been.
