Character Bio, Eri Yano, (Air-Ree   Yah-Noh)

Eri is someone whose blunt nature can off putting to those around her. Eri had a difficult upbringing, living in a slum, she resorted to stealing in order to stay alive. When it became clear that she had a talent for stealing she was recruited by local thugs in order to steal for them. If she were to steal for them, they would invest money into the area she grew up in, helping those who lived there to have a better life. With a chance to do good with her talent, she gladly accepted their offer.

Eri finds it difficult to deal with others, finding it difficult to trust them, having come from a background where society was barter for barter and  everyone backstabs each other in order to get the upper hand. However, she is a kind soul who is nice to those she trusts and those that she can rely on. She dislikes spending time in large groups, which often remind her of her upbringing in the slum, and will therefore instinctively avoid them.

Voice Notes

As befitting the Ultimate Thief, Eri should have a taciturn, medium-high female voice. Having had a tough upbringing where she couldn’t trust anyone, she tends to be aloof and guarded when speaking to others she doesn’t know. However, she is actually quite kind, and is friendly and protective towards those she trusts. She is also shy in large groups, and will rarely speak in them and do whatever she can to distance herself. Another character of subtle emotion, Eri must be able to show a gradual change in demeanor as she warms up to others and lets her kind nature come through.
