Character Bio, Yua Murakami (You-Ah Moo-Rah-Calm-Me)

Yua often practiced her beauty skills on herself and her family members, it soon became clear she had an extraordinary ability and she began to work in her local salon. The local salon shot up in popularity, and quickly became one of the most popular salons in the country, attracting customers from far and wide, with promises of being capable on entirely changing your appearance, to such an extent even your own family would not recognise you.

Yua is quite egotistical, believing her talent and herself are a gift from the gods, and that she is superior in almost every way to those around her. She believes talent is all meaning and that those without talent are beneath her. Yua hates people she views as unclean or those who are incapable of taking care of themselves hygienically. She is a calm individual in the heat of the moment, believing that things will always turn out the best or in her favour, but she is not above rising to insults or slanders against herself.

Voice Notes

 A diva by every definition, Yua should have a haughty, medium to medium-high female voice. Believing in herself and her talent above all else, she talks down to others, especially those whose talents she doesn’t recognize. She should sound condescending and smug without being over-the-top. While she speaks calmly and keeps her cool in most situations, she isn’t above getting aggressive when she believes someone has insulted or slighted her. In many ways, her attitude is similar to Miu Iruma’s without the vulgarity.
