When you think of a big villain that can almost take down anyone in the Marvel Universe, you think of Thanos. Thanos is a cosmic entity that derived from a world far away from Earth. His past is often mysterious, but we know he was born of Saturn's moon Titan and Sui-San (so he's basically a demi-god). He's always searched for balance in the Universe after witnessing constant strife. He believes that power and order are the key and he will do anything to gain it. Right now in the comics he has obtained the cosmic cube, a powerful destructive device that defies the laws of physics.
