The Archduke, Lord Bradford is the head of the nobility and the main villain. He profits the most from the people’s servitude, and uses the young king to maintain his power and wealth at any cost. He is suave, patient and calm, very rarely reacting with any great amount of anger. He calculates every move he makes very carefully and very seldom over reacts to anything.
(Pompously*) Then I don’t see a problem. The common people will be common, it’s what they do. And if they rise up, we put them down. Everyone has a role to play, and they must be allowed to play it.
(Suave*) You play your part, and keep the people in line, leave the king to me. So long as he is under our control, believe me when I tell you, we have nothing to fear.
