Bio: Ben Grimm A.K.A The Thing is a known member of the Fantastic Four (though other the years he has also had a known history with other groups like the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy.) Before Ben became the Thing he was a Pilot and an Astronaut who is old friends with Reed “Mr. Fantastic” Richards but during that interstellar space shuttle trip that went awry with the Cosmic Radiation Waves that gave the Fantastic Four their powers Ben mutated into a large super-strong orange rock man now known as the Thing. While Ben has often desired the chance to regain his human form over the years he has come to terms with his rocky appearance and is a well known strong-man (who even often has a somewhat friendly rivalry with the Hulk). One other thing is his vitriolic friendship with Johnny “Human Torch” Storm as Johnny would often like to tease him in which Thing would often snark back at best to make angry threats at worst. So while the Thing may seem grumpy & abrasive he is a very down to earth guy who definitely does have a softer side to him.
