The cranky co-owner of The Talking Skull Inn and eldest of the Burilia siblings. Paolin is Credenza's adopted brother/caretaker and pessimistic voice of reason. Should probably sound ticked off and sort of tired most of the time.

  • *quietly amused but agitated* "I've lost count of the number of times you've tried to bring dangerous, injured beasts here."

  • *authoritative* "Look, tomorrow morning we'll put him on the ferry and send him to Coin Island." *suddenly softer, sounds sincere* "It's only a day's trip away."

  • *sarcastically* "Naw, can't be him. That guy is so injured he won't be moving for a few days."
