Blaze appears in episode four and episode seventeen of Days of My Life.


Blaze is Sunset Shimmer's father. He appears in Sunset's flashback in Episode 4. Like his wife, he is also very traditional and is very stern. He's very strict with Sunset Shimmer and her use of magic, so much so he usually demands her not to use her magic. He favours his earth-pony son to his unicorn daughter. He is not supportive of Sunset going to Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns, and only allows her to go because it means he can spend more time with his son.

  • Blaze (playfully flirting): If we have a filly, she’ll be just as beautiful as you, my dear.

  • Blaze (angrily): Sunset Shimmer! What did I tell you?! Never, never use your magic while in my home!

  • Blaze (in shock): What do you mean, she’s a unicorn? How can she be a unicorn?!
