Angélique used to be a rockstar, more precisely a lead singer and guitarist. With an incredible amount of stage presence and charisma, she had what it took to move people. She was an innate leader. Even before becoming a supersonic-screaming Mage, her voice was her weapon. However, it all changed when she accidentally killed some of her fans by misusing her powers. That dramatic event still haunts her, and had been always remorseful for what happened.

Nowadays, Angel is an emotional young woman. She is idealistic and often speaks with conviction. Generic altruistic good girl who wishes peace and goes her way to make sure her friends are happy. Being so protective over her classmates, Angel is acting like a big sister. Her voice should reflect her emotional state, as she is verbally expressive. As emotionally broken down as she is, however, it's important to note that she is still prideful and passionate. When she speaks of her past, she appears to be mournful and nostalgic. When it comes to her friends and her enemies, she speaks with determination.

  • (Formal but friendly tone) "I'm Angélique Lachance. Angel will do just fine if you prefer."

  • (Passionate and determined tone) “I will find a way to become that someone else you could have been. A hero that can save herself and the others she cares about. It might just be a fool’s hope, but I’ll try. I’ll try, and I’ll show you that it can be done. And that you’re wrong. And that you can still be brought back, even if you say you can’t be saved.”

  • (Mild angry tone) “All my life I pursued a dream to be everyone’s idol. And after I fucked up my own dreams, I tried to keep going, befriending as many people as possible, because I feared ending up alone with no one to love, or being loved.”

Not a bad voice at all, but it's a bit hard to hear. Could definitely use some compression. If you're using Audacity, there's a "Compressor" effect in the Effects tab. Should do the trick!
