Shimizu Haruto has been accepted to Hope’s Peak Academy as the Super High School Level Barista, being beloved by anyone who visits his cafe for his delicious brews and good listening. He’s got a soothing charm to him, making him someone that’s likable to even the most rude and apathetic of people. He’s generally a caring person who believes in the good of humanity. Too bad there isn’t much of that here.
Director’s notes
Shimizu is definitely the most grounded of the students, being capable of staying calm for the sake of the group. He’s a generally soothing person to be around, caring deeply for all of the students and wanting to ensure that everyone gets out safe and happily.
Voice
Shimizu should have a medium voice that’s smooth and pleasant to listen to, sounding kind and caring. He should sound empathetic and easy to talk to and he generally has a fairly realistic emotional range.
(gently) It’s nice to meet you. I’m Shimizu Haruto, the Super High School Level Barista. I hope that we get along.
(reassuring, kind) There’s nothing wrong with that. Some blends can be really difficult to stomach without some sweetener, and it’s rare to find someone who actually likes black coffee.
(calming, trying to get everyone to work together) Even if someone is planning to kill, we need to do something other than stand around, waiting for death. We have to work together. After all, if we’re working as a team, we can find a way for everyone to make it out of this without anyone getting hurt.
