Mitch is mid 40's. Single parent, his wife is deceased. He is struggling for money having just started a new business and his son and the dog aren't behaving as he wants them to behave. 

Mitch is the key speaker in the story. He has some misdirected anger but is mainly tired beyond belief and clueless as to what to do with his wayward son.
Approximately 400 words. 

  • "You are supposed to be out there guarding the garage... not in here thieving" Context: Said to a dog (Rollo) who is trying to steal some pizza. Displeased and annoyed but not to angry just exasperated. 

  • "This is your fault! He's a guard dog, not a play toy!" Context: Shouting at his son for playing with the dog and making him soft. 

  • "I'm so sorry Tommy... I should never have.. I just... I didn't mean to..."Context: Mitch almost hit Tommy for being "girly". He should sound distraught, extremely upset, almost as thought he is going to cry he's so ashamed of himself.
