Danganronpa: First Blood
Mystery Maker for Nishi Katsumi - Ultimate Innovator
(Nee-shee Kat-soo-mee)
Gender: Male
An incredibly silly person (a trait that runs in his family), Nishi Katsumi is an Ultimate on the grounds that he has a lot of ideas. This doesn't mean, however, that he is capable of putting them into action. Despite his lack of engineering or practical knowledge, he still tries his hardest to make many of the things that he comes up with, both on his own and with the help of his friends. He's impulsive, and occasionally does things that either confuse or aggravate those around him- though he usually doesn't mean to.
He's a very fun person to talk to and be around, and frequently finds silliness in otherwise mundane things. Similarly, his voice should have an air of goofiness to it, perhaps as though he thinks certain things he says are funnier than they might otherwise seem. He's the sort of person where you would want to laugh along with him whenever something funny happens. Despite this focus on happiness, he, like everyone else in the story, should have a large range of emotion to tap into in more stressful and difficult scenes. If any pitch is preferred, perhaps a higher or lighter sound could add to the character.

(Defensive, explanatory) “It wasn't my first choice! I tried shaking you and yelling at you for a few minutes firs! Then I slapped you. It worked, too.”
(Disagreeing, shifting topics and tones) “I mean… bugs don't really ask permission, they just sorta scuttle in weird places where you find them and freak out. Have I mentioned I really don't like bugs? Wait! That reminds me, I gotta show you my blueprints for a 'Bug-Evicerator Mark Seven', Ayumu!”
(Telling a story, fondly reminiscing) “It's not a super high achievement, but I remember when me and some of my friends worked together to build a treehouse! It was difficult, and a little grueling, but we had fun! Even though we didn't know what we were doing- and the fact that it was a random tree a couple miles from home, since we all lived downtown where there aren’t many trees.”
