The Eldest Winslow daughter, heir and owner to Hallow Hill, although since she is still underage and unmarried the deed is being kept safe in her guardian's hands, Hugh Roberts. Kate is well educated, having been done so by her late father, a fashion not really popular at the time in the 1800s. She can sometimes come off as being a little uptight and formal, seeming very mature for her age. While she may act modest and polite in society, she is actually a bit vain and snappish if things don't go her way. She hates being teased or treated as a child, and is quite independent. She loves her younger sister Emily dearly, as she is her last close relative and would do anything to protect her from harm.
