The cabin boy who became a cabin man when no-one was looking, Tim is brave, hunky, smart-witted, and completely oblivious to life on land, having only been at sea for all his years. So when confronted with an enemy ship, Tim will charge straight into battle, and when confronted with a pavement, Tim will charge straight into a wall in his attempt to get away.

Tim still tries to sound young and innocent, and although his voice should get the innocence across, it should also be quite clear that this is the voice of a man who hasn't quite grown up yet, even if his appearance would say otherwise. A slightly higher voice than that of his comrades, but with the age behind it that he hasn't yet realised he has.
