Cockney born and bred, no-nonsense, tough as old boots and sharp as a whip, Rose has all the evidence she needs to have the Pirates sent to Sir Alexander should they fail to repay properly. But she knows that she can’t, because the pub is struggling enough as it is and she won’t be compensated if they die. So basically all threats are empty.

Rose speaks with a cockney accent and is normally quite fast with it, as there's a lot of pent-up emotion. Societal restrictions, stress due to the Drunken Dolphin going under and the desire for a more exciting life than just running a pub all contribute to her hardened tones.
