Role assigned to: Poppletron

Asgore is the king of all monsters, the final boss of the game, he forces Frisk to a fight to stop them from leaving the underground.

From what we can tell about how he sounds ingame, Asgore has a very deep voice, he should sound manly and a little old, but at the same time should denote a certain kindness and sadness in his overall tone.

I'm leaving this here in case anyone can do a better job portraying those same feelings of sadness than what's already in the animatic.

  • Howdy! How can
I-... *GASP*  (PAUSE) I so badly want to say,  would you like a cup of tea?...  But... you know how it is (PAUSE) Nice

a game of catch! (PAUSE) ...You know what we must do, when you
are ready, come into the next room.

  • This is the barrier this is
what keeps us all trapped underground (PAUSE) If... If by chance you have any unfinished business... Please do what you must

  • Human... it was a nice to meet you... goodbye.

Hi! you have a good voice but I don't think it fits Asgore (a massive floof who's very old and mature) at all :(, after all, it's no secret that in the game the "voice" sound for asgore is quite deep. However I think you can still try lowering the tone of your voice, and also if possible make it more raspy so that people can't guess it's someone lowering their true tone. In addition to that, I see Asgore sounds very unemotional about what's about to happen, we need the viewers to tell from his voice tone and his expressions that he is sad, and doesn't want to fight, we need to make clear that he is constantly hesitating before the battle begins.

Thank you, and yes, I understand what you're saying, and i can most certainly try that, as well as putting a bit more emotion into it :D
