Kazuo Tengan is known as both the former headmaster of Hopes Peak Academy, as well as the advisor after his retirement. He never attended the school, and his age is somewhere in his 70's. He is the 4th to die in the killing game this is based off of, as well as the mastermind, but that could all change here.

Kazuo is a peaceful, good-natured old man who doesn't believe that conflict can help anything. He is a pacifist for the most part, and the only time he uses weapons is in order to help others / himself. Kazuo also has great leadership skills, and uses his leadership in order to create peace. He sees Kyosuke as naive, and doesn't like his way of doing things. Despite this outward appearance, Kazuo can also be extremely sadistic, willing to kill anyone and do anything in the name of hope.

Kazuo obviously needs to sound like an old man, but like any of these characters, you don't actually have to be that old in order to be cast. Most of the time, he speaks gently, but there are times where he uses his authority and has to yell. The actor also needs to be able to sound evil, as that is Kazuo's true hidden nature.
