Please sing 30 seconds or more of any part of the song you like! I ask that you sing in your full potential singing voice, meaning that you should sing like you would in a live situation. Please do not add effects, but you may harmonize your vocal lines if you wish! I would also prefer if you have the background track on too. Oh and please have a pop filter of some sort.

Exception to the Japanese language
: I can make an exception to make this an english cover instead, if you can show me that it sounds good in english. In fact, I would encourage you to prove me wrong as I would love to hear this song in english, but in my ears, the Japanese feels natural and smooth, while sometimes, English translation sounds rigid and strange in lyrics. I would say this is subjective depending on how the singer sings :). So have at it! Oh and feel free to modify any english lines that you feel that would be better. Also, keeping the line "Ima Suki Ni Naru" in the lyrics I think would be really cool in hybrid with english (since it references the song title).

Hello Kara! Your audition was very enjoyable (I enjoyed listening your voice)! However, I noticed that you struggled with the some notes (which seemed out of your range), and some Japaneses words transitions seemed to lacked legato (which is not a problem of any sort of your voice, just the Japanese accent). I apologize if my criticisms are wrong considering I'm not a vocalist and I can't convey advice in a expert vocalist sense, so I try to convey them with how my ears think they sound. Your voice is very adorable and childish (not in the immature way! I'm talking about how it sound youthful and pure). I heard some of your voice acting and they were very excellent and conveyed a great amount of emotions.

Thank you so much. I can fix anything that needs fixing. You're feedback was fine, you don't need to understand the world of vocals (I understand what you said-it was very helpful!) May I ask what kind of notes were the ones lacking? I want to improve as much as I can. Thanks for listening to my audition Junyoopai

Absolutely! I noticed that when you were singing this phrase "sono mujaki sa wa", there was a awkward "push" on the notes on the word "sono" and "sa wa". It sounds like you were looking at something disgusting if I had to put it to words. It happened also during this phrase "Miteru hou ga iraira shimasu" during the word "iraira". The word "Kauntodaun" felt quite unnatural too. There was a slight timing error when transitioning to the word "Senpai". When I tap my foot and sing along I can notice the slight timing error, but it may not be noticeable here, but in a mix it'd be very obvious! There was also an energy loss too at the word "waratte" and it felt very rushed when it was said. I think a better way of describing the "push" is that some notes were unbalanced. Some had more energy (possibly too much) and some had less energy so it was a bit unbalanced. I'm not Japanese myself, but I've listened to the vocal cover video (up above) probably about 200 times now and I try to compare the audition to that one (just for smoothness and making sure the auditions are on-key, the girl in the video is very professional and the original cover video has 800k views, so I don't put my audition standards to her level!). Again I'm far from a vocalist critiquer (I don't think this is a word xD), so I can only express it in some weird wording. It's like I'm trying to describe what chocolate taste like, so I probably sound kind of vague! I'm still a developing musician (hobby), so you should take my own critique with a grain of salt! I'm actually fairly sleepy right and this small chat box that I'm typing in isn't helping me keep track of what I said since I can only see 3 lines text, so I hope I typed everything understandable.

Thank you very much, I will take all that you said into consideration.
