This is for an Audiobook, and the book requires dual narrators.  My female character is 90% of the book, but the other 10% of the narration I'd need to find a male voice actor for.   I will not only be looking for a good voice match for the character, but also for a very clear, high quality sound.  I prefer that you do not do any post-processing of your audio, upload the sample raw (unprocessed) so I can see what your unedited sound is like.  I will do all the editing to make it match my own narration.

  • (He has a drawl that should be deep and masculine, the rough kind that makes girls swoon)Helena?"  (She responds by pointing out the sign that says "Don't ring the doorbell.) “Ah.” he smiles. “And I thought those rules were put up just for me.”

  • “I'm a little early.” His smile is still in place, and it is an amused one, his personal joke too freaking fascinating to share. “Would you like me to wait in the truck 'til four?”     (She asks "You mean the truck in my driveway?")
    He chuckles, "Yes."

  • (She asks him if he is Ron - someone she's been expecting...)“That prick?” He coughs out a laugh. “No.”

Thank you for auditioning. Love the deep, velvety tone of your voice! Very nice indeed!

I'd need to convince myself to somehow follow this. Which is no small task by any means. :)

Sadly, it seems that since I posted this yesterday seeking a narration partner so we could audition, the author has since awarded the audiobook contract to someone else. I'm sorry :(

Sorry to hear that, but these things happen. It was still fun to audition for the part.
