[ AUDIO DRAMA ] A General's Allegory ( Will be uploaded on Youtube! )
Vinsmoke for Village Cheftain
A man in his mid 30's, he is a caring father with only his daughter to lose. Mid/deep tone is needed, and especially the second and last line, if you manage to deliver the heart-shattering emotion of loss, you'll be immediately accepted.''
(He whispers to himself.) "They took her away from me..." (He pauses and notices Setnava) "You... this is YOUR fault!" (His tone is crazed, as if trying to punch her, but is stopped by the village men and he attempts to struggle free.) "I should have never allowed a cretin like you in our village!"
(Relieved, tears of joy maybe) "Amira, my daughter... I am so glad you're safe."
(Resentful whisper) "If you have any conscience left in that rotting brain of yours... (he turns to Setnava) then bring me back my daughter."
WHOA! Got chills on the first line, man! But, I hope you are aware of the noisies in your background. I had different plans for the delivery of the other lines, but I think that can be taken cared of. If you can manage to do something with the audio quality, then feel free to audition once more!
Thank you michael, it’s my first time doing voice acting and I will try my best for it. I’ll be buying a better mic and do it in a better place so expect that 2nd time to be better.
I'm rooting for you! :3
yeah dude, you have a really great voice, matching, the character even, but for the recording, some little improvement can help, like record your voice on a isolated room, with no echo, (use shets to put on the top corner of the room and make sure no one is having a party somewhere else in the house . a Pop filter, THAT is a must have, but talent, that, you have it my friend :) for a debut, it s very very promissing .
Thanks so much man. Hoping I get the role 👍🏼
