The arch enemy of the turtles and main villain of the show. Shredder is a cruel and ruthless ninja master who is as petty as he is dangerous. Although he has a deep, menacing voice and can be quite intimidating, he is prone to almost childish tantrums and name calling when angry (which is almost always). Because these episodes are a sort of spinoff of the 1987 cartoon series, I am looking for a voice that is similar to his counterpart there. A similar sound would be excellent, but I believe it is even more important to capture the spirit and energy of the character in your performance. Shredder is a unique balancing act because although he is supremely evil, he is also one of the funniest characters of the show. Nicely done, you've absolutely hit the right tone for Shredder! I especially enjoyed the clear annoyance conveyed in your second take of line 3.
Thanks, I watched a lot of the original series as a kid. Always liked the voices.
