Saloon Simulator – Voice a Member of the Saloon Staff!
Richard Gibson for Cook (male voice)
In this role, you’ll be voicing two saloon employees. We’d like your audition to show that you can portray two distinct characters. Their voices don’t need to differ radically from your natural tone, but we want the player to feel that they are not performed by the same actor. We aim for realism, so please avoid anything overly exaggerated or caricatured.
In Saloon Simulator, you will voice two cooks. The game is set in the Wild West, where the player manages a saloon, first alone, and later with your characters’ help. Since the player takes on the role of the boss, we want your delivery to convey respect and recognition toward the player’s character. Aim for a tone that feels professional but still full of personality.
The role includes around 170 short reaction lines to customer actions. Each line is very brief. In total, the role amounts to approximately 70–75 lines in a book format (calculated as 60 characters with spaces per line).

[to themselves, after making a low-quality dish] Oops! I must’ve mixed up the ingredients.
[to the boss, after cooking a great dish] Not to brag, but I’m a damn good cook.
[to the boss, irritated] I’m not working because I’ve got nothing to cook with.
