Makoto Naegi is a member of the 14th branch of Future Foundation along with Byakuya Togami, Touko Fukawa, Kyoko Kirigiri, Aoi Asahina, and Yasuhiro Hagakura. Makoto was a student at Hopes Peak Academy in the first game Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. He is the proclaimed Ultimate Hope. His voice is a mid-high typical male anime protagonist.
