Erdan, emphasis is on the "dan" (like guitar, emphasis is on the "tar"). Also, "dan" should be said "darn" or "dah-n" It's an "ah" sound. (Erdan responds to "Erdarn" and "Erdahn", and both very similar pronunciations are present in the book.)
Pieter, Pie-ter. (It rhymes with "lighter")
Darrak, the "ak" rhymes with "hack" (rhymes with "barracks")

Duncheth’s gatekeeper, was always pleased to see people he recognised. He
strove to remember as many faces as possible.“Alek, Darrak, Erdan,” Jamros’s heavy
armour squeaked as he waved to them, “Congratulations. I see you have an
escort.”“I beg your pardon!” said
Gwenevere. She felt she had dressed quite conservatively.“We are not her escort,” Alek
turned to Gwenevere, “He believes you paid us to escort you on your travels.
‘Tis a very easy and well-paying job, but difficult to obtain.”“Oh,” said Gwenevere, “well if
anyone requires an escort, I am certain we would keep them safe!”“If they only require an escort
for fifteen miles up Windy Hill road,” added Alek, almost sarcastically.Jamros smiled. “Ah, you travel
to visit Pieter?”“How did you…?” Alek caught
himself, “I suppose you know everyone who exists.”“Over two thousand exist in
Duncheth alone. I thank the gods that so few have any desire to leave these
walls or my days would be very busy. I learn what I can.”“Then learn this,” Alek pointed
an open hand at Gwenevere, “This is my wife Gwenevere. She shall be travelling
with us. I can vouch for her character.”“People of any character may
exit,” said Jamros, “and, if they did so willingly, may even return again.”Darrak and Erdan chuckled at
Alek’s error. Alek tried to smile and take it in good humour.“Forgive me Jamros. I forgot
which side of the gate I stand. I mean to say, remember my wife’s face, for she
shall be arriving back with us tomorrow morning.”“Or perhaps late tonight even,”
said Gwenevere.“Sunset, the gate locks, ma’am”
said Jamros, “Sunrise, I return for duty.”“Definitely tomorrow,” Alek
turned to Gwenevere, “Tomorrow without a doubt.”Jamros called “All clear?” to
one of the guards on top of the wall.The guard stood up, searched the
horizon for danger, and then called, “All clear!”Upon hearing this, Jamros ran to
turn a wheel, opening the giant wooden gates to the outside world. By the time
they were out, the gate was already closing.
Okay, I stand corrected. My fault. "Darrak" ends in an "ack" sound (rhyming with hack). I take full responsibility there. As for the voice itself, Jamros is a very friendly social character. He remembers everyone's details because he genuinely cares about them and takes a genuine interest in them. Something about the voice you chose has an undertone that seems to say, "Can we stop talking already? I need to get back to plotting evil." That said, it's still a good performance, but if I can get Pokmaen to resubmit the correct pronunciation of "Pieter", I'll be going with that instead. Otherwise, it's not that bad, and I'd sooner take this take than do it myself (which I was starting to fear I'd have to).
Oh, and the "all clear", the original actor I had to recast did a louder "all clear" than that. You actually have to yell that line. You can't just say it normally then turn up the volume afterwards. Everyone can tell the difference.
So Pieter is pronounced to rhyme with lighter? Or Neater?
With lighter, yes. You got it correct. Pokmaen didn't.
By the way, submit as many times as you like. Several of the characters I cast, if I were to judge them based on their first audition, they wouldn't have a chance. (I won't name names, though, but I do have names in mind.) The ones who usually win do so by continuously reading my comments on them and others, and adjusting their takes accordingly.
Well, in my view any actor worth a damn is open to direction.
I've met a few who rather than resubmit, explain to me why it's my fault for describing the role wrong, and that their audition was perfect if measured against how I described the part. (Though I've never cast anyone who said that, even if they were always correct.)
