The princess of Ivalice. Ovelia has lived most of her entire life within a monastery where she studied under the priests there, more of an asset of the royal family's being kept safe for potential use later. She is one of the female co-leads and one party of the story's romance subplot. In this chapter she has just been kidnapped and the Captain of her guard, The Holy Knight Agrias, is hot in pursuit. When she is found she is being defended by her kidnapper(Delita) from Northern-Sky knights who have been sent to kill her. They win and Delita leaves the princess in the care of the Hero's party but claims their protection will be insufficient and only he can keep her safe. Later she has been captured again and upon learning the truth of her origin she willing becomes a puppet for the sake of her own survival. Delita was involved with this as well betraying the trust she had in him, but he defends her again later and she admits she must trust him at least a little. The story gets more complicated later as she develops feelings for Delita but fears him as well. This is a rather tragic character, not a sassy one.

1. The battle is over and Ovelia rescued, she thanks Delita as he leaves believing him a good-natured man.

2. Ovelia is in a dungeon with Delita standing over her, she is trying to be defiant. 

3. Delita has saved her life yet again, Ovelia knows he intends to use her but she follows him anyway.
