Napstabot is a chill robot, he usually stays away from communications, but when he comes through the door, everyone goes wild.

  • I only have two albums, but...I can try to come out with a new one...even though it might take some time...

Hey, I just stumbled upon this randomly and I really like it (nice youthful rasp, the right tonality), but can I kind of corroborate with that comment above? You shouldn't be doing an introduction at all. If you have to say anything at the beginning of an audition, it should just be your name and only your name. You don't need to say "Hi, I'm xxx and I'm auditioning for yyy, and I hope you like my audition" because it's pretty obvious that you are just by virtue of uploading the file. It makes people want to click away from your audition because you're not actually auditioning at that point. You gotta get their attention as quick as you can. This is especially true in pro projects where people might be getting hundreds or thousands of auditions. This isn't a pro project (and heck, you might not even necessarily want to go pro, I dunno), but you're gonna wanna nip this habit in the bud. Same with outros, it just adds tedium to your audition. Improv is fine but you wanna be careful with it, as to not sound flippant. Keep up the good work, though! I'm interested to see more of you in the future.

thanks, and that really makes me think, i will do that from here on out. :> thanks for setting me straight, i take voice acting rather seriously, it's a passion really and a dream to go pro.
