{Castaways} Fire Emblem: Fates Recasting
allen the ultimate gamer for Xander
Range: Low - Medium
Reference: Japanese / English
The Ramen King is looking for his little princess.
A calm-collected and righteous leader and loving older brother. Xander is a confident adviser and leader to the Nohrian army. Both Japanese and English do well to reflect his calm, cool and yet authoritative tone. I prefer the Japanese because it has lower pitch and sounds soft and brotherly while maintaining a good grasp on his wiser side. He sounds confident at the while also retaining his kind tone.
How unfortunate. You leave me no choice. If force is the only thing that can make you listen to reason, so be it!
Free time is not something I'm accustomed to. What do people do to pass the time?
I love you, truly. I've been meaning to tell you for so long... You are my precious wife now. It is my honor and duty to keep you safe, at all costs.
Like I told you on Discord, I would like some feedback on this, what I did right, what I could improve on, any tips, it would be appreciated.
Your voice is definitely too young for Xander. I want this character you have a mature, lower voice because of his standing as high prince of Nohr. Acting wise, I do not think Xander to be the one for loud anger, more like seething anger. I think you went a bit too over the top with the first line. When just reading the lines, It is a bit too fast. More mature character like to take there time to read out their lines while a younger more immature character will read it at a faster pace. I ultimately do not think Xander is the right character for you, your voice would better fit young adult in the young, brash protagonist archetype.
Fair enough, I thought I might give him a shot since voice range was medium and that's where I stand, but I can see that Xander isn't exactly the right fit for me, I have a more cartoonish voice so I do better with more fun characters (which is why abridged series and parodies are my strong suit though I do like to try out new roles every once in a while) and I'm not really in control of talking at a slower pace, I'm just so used to talking fast, I appreciate the feedback and I do hope that maybe some other characters that are better suited for me will come up, cause I'd really like to be a part of this.
Of course! There may be more character in the future so I'd say keep tabs.
