Cowpoke is a former gunslinger and criminal turned ranch hand. He lives a quiet life in Goodsprings, keeping the cattle rustlers away. When he meets the Player, he will give some advice about not hurrying to their destination, because all that will await them is a swift death. After the Player listens to his spiel, he'll gift the Player his rifle.


He carries the unique cowboy repeater, "Jack Horn's Cross".
