Koopley is a Koopa hailing from Petalburg, and the father of Koops. He shows his bravery by trying to confront Hooktail by himself. After Koops saves him from Hooktail's stomach, he shows great pride in Koops' newfound bravery and strength.
I'd like Koopley's voice to sound like a boisterous, fun-loving father figure. I'd prefer something on the deeper side, but whatever that description means to you should work.
This role will have a few lines at the end of chapter 1, and may occasionally appear again throughout the game.

Well, I came here a while back to deal with Hooktail, and all was well and good... But just before my finishing blow, she played a trick on me and gobbled me down whole. I've been hiding in my shell for the ten years since then... Inside Hooktail's belly! And boy, was it nasty! Yuck! I'm so glad to finally get out! Ahh ha ha ha ha ha!
Nicely said, young Koops! THAT'S my boy! But always remember this: you are my son, Koops...and I am your father! No matter where it is you go, Son, just know that your old Koopa's rooting for you!
So tell me, Mario, how's my boy, Koops, doing? If he's not pulling his weight, you just let me know. I'll take his place in your group like THAT! Oh, yeah! Yar har har har har har!
