New World Adventures
kimgasicielvo for Gwenevere (Loving housewife of Alek, the sword fighter)
2,553 words.
IN MY HEAD: I imagine Sarah Alexander's character Susan Walker from the TV show Coupling
You are honour bound! You gave me your word that I should join you for
our first quest, and you have broken it! (Angry)I shall not delay you too long. I swear by all the gods, you shall not regret my presence. (Over-the-top gratitude for letting her tag along)
You were right. I should have drawn my sword. (Apologetic) [This is one of those well after the fact thought-out prepared-in-advance sincere apologies, not an off the cuff apology in the moment.]
My rate would be $25 for the whole project, including re-reads, fixes, and basic noise editing.
Although $25 for your voice is indeed a bargain, I've got auditions here that are just as good, if not better, going for free. If it weren't for them, I'd cough up the $25 no problem, but as it stands, I wish you the best of luck finding someone willing to pay you. I'm unemployed, so I know how much it hurts to offer to do something for way less than what I'm worth and still get turned down. Unfortunately, I can only choose one Gwenevere, and telling someone that their voice, even for free, isn't worth it is an even greater slap in the face.
Thank you very much for taking the time to comment on everyone's auditions; it makes all the difference to know exactly what a director is looking for. I know you'll end up with a great finished product!
Half of these guys want to work for free. What sort of bastard would I be if I didn't? I gotta give SOMETHING in return. All the actors I've worked with (the good ones anyway) absolutely love detailed feedback.
