Elisabeth “Elsie” Bray, also known as the Exo Stranger, is the protagonist and narrator within this story. As a time traveling Exo and sister to Guardian Ana Bray, she has been to countless timelines and seen the darkness corrupt not only the Sol System in each one, but she’s had to witness her sister’s corruption countless times as well. This lore book tells the story of the most recent timeline Elisabeth has been to prior to our own, and how she ended up in the current Destiny 2 timeline.

Elisabeth is a quiet individual, if only for the fact that she has too many secrets to tell. She isn’t the type to come charging in boisterously to save the day, instead opting to watch from the sidelines until the time is right. Due to her experiences with the darkness and her usage of its powers for good through the power of Stasis, Elisabeth has a deep understanding of its effects on herself and others. This has led to her having a very reliable moral compass, despite her deterring mysteriousness. Being able to capture Elisabeth’s mysterious nature yet deterministic resolve is essential to this role.
