Muffet is a very dynamic and showy character! Her number, “Never Let You Go”, is an upbeat song similar to the work of the Beatles and Cowsills, with classical themes and a big broadway ending! Whomever is cast as Muffet must sing very elegantly in a mezzo to soprano range, possibly some high alto if required, but the song can be adjusted if necessary. However, they also must be able to sing enthusiastically for the finale.

Hey, you shouldn't ever compare yourself, we have no idea what the director will like or not. The deadline isn't until June after all! I listened to your audition, I loved your lines, your voice is pretty too (Though I'd suggest cutting all of that random talking in the first part and just do the lines and music , you don't want any distractions in your submission.)
But yours was really good! Besides, Muffet was never my best voice anyway.
