Alean (Pronounaced Al-Ee-En) is a native of High Rock, and a member of the holy order, the Knights of the Circle. Having come to Skyrim to protect Arkay's domains in the wake of the Civil War, he meets the player in Whiterun and becomes a companion if the player expresses faith in Arkay. He is dutiful, pleasant, and faithful. Although, despite his nature as a priest and a knight, he will never anoint another with the blessing of Arkay, as it is against the creed of the Knights of the Circle to bless those outside the order.
