Looney Tunes - A Joystick in the Fudd
Toon.Tone for Tweety Bird (Nintendo)
In this parody short, Tweety represents Nintendo, having its biggest success ever thanks to staying true to itself and following its ideas, producing games that may be a bit overpriced but they're miles better than what the competition has to offer right now.
This audition consists of 1 iconic line and only two lines from the actual script.
Here's how he talks: The consonants /s/, /k/, and /g/ are changed to /t/, /d/, or (final s); for example, "pussy cat" comes out as "putty tat", later rendered "puddy tat", "Granny" comes out as "Dwanny" and "sweetie pie" comes out as "tweetie pie" (a phonological pattern referred to as 'fronting'), hence his name. He also has trouble with liquid consonants: as with Elmer Fudd, /l/ and /r/ come out as /w/.
You can base your performance on any version you want (except maybe Baby Looney Tunes)
