Looney Tunes - A Joystick in the Fudd

Looney Tunes - A Joystick in the Fudd

Project Overview

Looney Tunes - A Joystick in the Fudd is a parody GMOD animated short that pokes fun at the current console wars through a mixture of the classic Looney Tunes humor and the modern Gen Z / shitpost humor popularised by web animator SMG4.

I'll animate the short on GMOD and compose the music inspired by the works of Looney Tunes composer Carl Stalling.

Bugs Bunny (PlayStation)

Unpaid
Role assigned to: Joe Cisney Jr.

In this parody, Bugs Bunny is a salesman for PlayStation, representing a company that is n.1 in sales but is starting to show some of their weaknesses due to bad business decisions (ex. too many GaaS games)

The audition consists of 3 iconic lines from Bugs. He speaks with a Mid-Atlantic accent (more specifically a mixture of Brooklyn and Bronx accents). You can base your performance on whatever version of Bugs Bunny you want (except Baby Looney Lune. To better understand how the voice is, here's a sample: Comparing The Voices - Bugs Bunny - YouTube

Daffy Duck (Xbox)

Role assigned to: Jsaking11

In this parody short, Daffy Duck represents Xbox, a company that is making more money on the Game Pass than on their consoles, and their first-party line-up is pretty weak compared to competitors.

The audition consists of 3 iconic lines from Daffy.
His voice is very similar to Sylvester Cat (he has a lisp).
You can base your performance on any version of Daffy you want (except Baby Looney Tunes)

Elmer Fudd (Casual Customer)

Role assigned to: Pedro Rovina

In this parody short, Elmer is a consumer who is interested in buying a console through a 1 percent discount (this is a joke to make fun of the rising cost of games in recent years)

The audition consists of 2 iconic lines from Elmer. Here's how he speaks: he nearly always mispronounced consonants [r] and [l], pronouncing them as [w] instead (a trait that also characterized Tweety Bird) when he would talk in his slightly raspy voice.
You can base your performance on whatever version of Elmer you want (except Baby Looney Tunes).

Tweety Bird (Nintendo)

Unpaid
Role assigned to: Jsaking11

In this parody short, Tweety represents Nintendo, having its biggest success ever thanks to staying true to itself and following its ideas, producing games that may be a bit overpriced but they're miles better than what the competition has to offer right now.

This audition consists of 1 iconic line and only two lines from the actual script.
Here's how he talks: The consonants /s/, /k/, and /g/ are changed to /t/, /d/, or (final s); for example, "pussy cat" comes out as "putty tat", later rendered "puddy tat", "Granny" comes out as "Dwanny" and "sweetie pie" comes out as "tweetie pie" (a phonological pattern referred to as 'fronting'), hence his name. He also has trouble with liquid consonants: as with Elmer Fudd, /l/ and /r/ come out as /w/.

You can base your performance on any version you want (except maybe Baby Looney Tunes)
