Experienced, dependable, and self-sacrificing, Ironhide is someone any good leader would want at their side. He'll provide unwavering support to up-and-comers he's decided have "the right stuff", although Ironhide may take his time in arriving at that determination. Even Optimus Prime himself had to earn Ironhide's respect, but once he obtained it, there was nothing Ironhide wouldn't do for him. Loyalty is something Ironhide takes very seriously and he holds others to his own high standard.
