Hades is the Greek god of the underworld and the ruler of the dead. He is often depicted as a stern and regal figure sitting on a throne. Hades is responsible for overseeing the souls of the dead and ensuring that they are judged and assigned to their appropriate afterlife. Despite his grim duties, Hades is not inherently evil; he is simply fulfilling his role in the Greek pantheon.
