Red is a male Human and hails from the small town of Pinewood. He is a former Templar apprentice and Trace Legacy's best friend prior to the latter's amnesia, but was a turned hometown militia member after dropping out of training. His real name is still completely unknown aside from a hint that it's similar to a plant though he was officially dubbed "Red" by a fan vote later on.

After being forced to flee from Pinewood by Wolf Keidran, along with the rest of the members that would form Group B, and while travelling with them and seemingly developed feelings for one of his companions, Raine. After discovering she was really a Keidran it didn't stop Red from perusing her altogether, despite his racist views on Keidran, and has began making an attempt to stop making racist remarks as of late.
