Well, the sun! The one in the sky that brightens the world of Flower Fields. Huff N Puff’s wicked cloud machine rendered the sun’s rays useless and brought him from the sky to the tower. Ever since, the sun has been in a sad, hopeless, and self-loathing state.
I am looking for a medium-low to medium-pitched voice that can sound sunny and somewhat powerful once the sun is back in the sky, but can also conversely convey gloom at the start of his dialogue.

I'm a complete failure as a sun. All of those flowers and plants in Flower Fields are suffering... Where is it? You mean the Puff Puff Machine?
[Joyously, as if it were his life purpose and greatest day!] Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! The clouds are gone! It's time for a little sunshine!
I don't normally comment on auditions unless it's to tell people to add their discord, but I feel extremely inclined to tell you that the sun is feeling as down as can be in this scene. The sun is out of the sky on top of a darkened tower and refuses to even feel the same anymore. It's an extremely depressing scene. So... as much as I admire your... interpretation... if you truly desire consideration for this role, I may reconsider the approach. -the director
Hello Thank You for the feedback. You are correct I should've paid attention to the voice description. Even though I have not played the game before, that doesn't excuse the fact that I should've done my research on the character. The reasoning of my choice of interpretation was because it reminded me of "Link" from "Sonic for Hire" and I thought it was funny plus Its a character I've never worked with and thought of this as a chance to try something new or to "Step Out Of My Comfort Zone" (If that makes sense). If you'd like me to redo my audition and I make him sound gloomy I'd be happy to.
